Hey friends! The new issue of ON Magazine is hot off the press! This month we’re focusing on the family & I’m talking about designing cool spaces for your kiddos. I had so much fun on this issue. The game room featured in the article is my daughter’s & she even makes a cameo in her favorite space. Vamping up your kid’s rooms is the perfect back to school project! Click on the photo below to get an up close look at the photos & tips. Happy designing!

What a great! Wish I had a fun room like that! Your daughter is so cute!
totally cute space, and beautiful little girl! little girls should always have a space they consider their own.

glad you mentioned that white floors are not practical for a kids room, or play room. heck not even near my table because of my kids.

i agree with making it cool and making it fun. most people get caught up in making it about them. its for the kids!

What a nice touch the family photos add, and I love the reclaimed wood on the pub table & chairs.
Shay that shoot turned out great !
Interested in seeing how the bedroom turned out,
and where can I get this mag?

Thanks James! Jaylie’s room still isn’t finished. I had a chandelier made in a custom size for her & it arrived yesterday. Still waiting on the fabric for her bench & need to get some nightstands picked ~ which I’ll probably do at market. I need to have you guys start working on the art for her room. I still want to do what we talked about. Let me know what y’all need from me to get started.
Shay she will need to get sizes for canvas’ and we can squeeze them in between models, and we need to take advantage of her creative brain waves with all the artwork we are doing for the models …lol ! James
Shay that is a really great space. My daughter is a high school senior this year and for her back to school project we painted her room a beautiful bright creamy orange. She says she wakes up every day with a smile on her face. Ah, the power of color!
painted by daughters room a pretty aqua color..fun and changeable for her age. sons room is gray, more lofty. but love both looks for them as kids.

i think a childs room should also be a bit them..my son asked me the other day if he could hang his favorite football players mag cover on the wall. i almost sd no, but then i thought. its about him, not me and what i want 100% in his space.
